Genuine military-surplus rear retractable step assembly for HMMWV ambulance bodies.

This assembly mounts at the rear of the ambulance body and provides the retractable access steps used for entering and exiting the rear patient compartment. The military parts manual identifies the rear step assembly for the M996, M996A1, M997, M997A1, and M997A2 ambulance platforms.

These are As Removed military take-off units and may show normal signs of service use, age, storage, surface wear, paint loss, or corrosion.
